Krau Wildlife Reserve Malaysia

Krau Wildlife Reserve Malaysia

The Krau Wildlife Reserve is a natural protected heritage sanctuary in West Malaysia and is a home to two native tribes of the Siwang of Senoi group and the Jah Hut. Spreading across a huge spectrum of untouched tropical lowland rainforests, the reserve covers an area of as much as 53 hectares.

The Krau Wildlife Reserve is furthermore dignified because of the sixth tallest mountain of Malaysia – Gunung Benom, which stands proudly at 2,110 meters from the sea level. The unspoiled primary forests dressing the lowlands, river valleys, and dipterocarp zones with their luxuriant greenery provide a real feast to the eyes and so do the crystal clear waters of the Sungai Lompat. The diversity and abundance of flora and fauna and the orchids, Seraya, oaks, pitcher plants, ferns, and laurels found here make up for the most charming landscape.
