Kenyir Lake Malaysia
One of the most sought after tourist spots in the Terengganu district of Kerala is the Kenyir Lake. It is an artificial lake and the area has been effectively developed mainly for ecotourism. The lake houses several convenient resorts around the shores. Popular, entertaining activities taking place around the Kenyir Lake and forests include jungle treks and fishing. For fishing, the place is best in August, since the water level at that time is considerably low. Jungle treks are mostly arranged at well-known spots such as the Bewal at the national Park, and Penkalan Gawi, along popular rivers of Lawit, Tembat, and Lasir. The most prominent water sport activities undertaken here include canoeing, shooting rapids, rafting, boating, and kayaking.
